This was quite a challenge.
The Brief: To make a sign to match the company image; Rustic; Reclaimed materials; Keep the cost down; Smart enough to fit into retail outlet;
And you got 4 days to make it :)
This is how we did it:
The oak boards were collected from the customer on the Sunday.
We pressured washed and cut to size and then fixed together with battens on the rear.
The 'backing board' was then treated with a blue wood wash.
More of the oak was plained down for the lettering.
We wanted the 'Wiggly Wigglers' to look natural as possible so we cut by hand and fixed to the backing board with steel pins.
'The Good Life' was machine cut and glued. Both sets of letters were wood washed prior to fitting.
The finished sign was collected from us on the Wednesday evening and we helped install on site (Ross Labels) on Thursday morning.
